Rodarte on the range

I recently got engaged, I am by no means a bridezilla but the occasional wedding related post will find its way onto this blog.  That being said, I want to get married in a dress from Rodarte’s AW11 ready-to-wear collection. drool, sigh, double drool, double sigh.

With a colour palette that references dreamy prairie blue skies along side creamy beige wheat fields, geometric shapes emphasize quilt motifs with soft knit, sheer and lace fabrics. The fashion design sister duo has channeled the wardrobe of a futuristic prairie goddess in this collection. 

The label has made a name for itself by creating clothes for women of the modern age. Inspiring thought and process their style has attracted real thinking women like Tilda Swinton and Nathalie Portman.

I am in huge support of ending the strapless dress trend, long live sleeves!
