Nautiluss gets signed.

My dear friend Nautiluss was recently signed to Hemlock Recordings and ever since has been getting major play on the airwaves by some seriously heart-worthy dj’s (ie: Mary Anne Hobbs and Gilles Peterson).  I was blessed with the opportunity to design the logo for this new musical venture. It is based on the diamond origami fold, the base step needed to create some of the most complicated Japanese paper sculptures. Which I like to think of as representative of Nautiluss, him being the foundation for the layered sounds he folds together to create musical structures.  The forms also create the letter “N” as well as the shapes of two sailboats.  Go twitter and FB for all the latest Nautiluss news.
